Powered by the latest iteration of Intel Core Ultra Processors, which is combined with a DDR5 memory setup, it ensures reliable performance which is what a ThinkPad user expects. The Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 6 is now also capable of AI-associated operation with the likes of Windows Copilot all thanks to the integrated NPU in the processor, enhancing creativity.

Design

The design followed is a classic Black coat which gives stealthy vibes. The case material is aluminum for both the top and bottom panels, which makes the package more premium and stylish with its slim and sleek profile, which can be accommodated easily in a backpack. The Lenovo Intelligent Cooling Feature can be used to adjust the fan speed of the notebook.

Intel Core Ultra Series Processor

The Lenovo ThinkBook E14 features the latest Intel Core Ultra 5 125U processor, which comes with 2 performance cores, and 8 efficiency cores alongside 2 low power efficiency cores for the neural processing unit with 14 threads that enable it to provide terrific multicore and multithreaded performance. It also offers a Level 3 smart Cache of 12 MB.

The setup is configured at a rate base clock frequency of 1.3 GHz, and with Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, it overclocked to a Max Turbo frequency of up to 4.3 GHz, drawing a power of 15 to 57 watts.

The unit is also integrated with the NPU and provides Intel® AI Boost, which is necessary to run applications like Windows Copilot, Microsoft Clipchamp, Trello, etc.

The processor is also integrated with Intel Graphics, with a Max Dynamic Frequency of 1.85 GHz, with 4 Xe-cores, and also the support for DirectX 12.2. That makes it capable of heavy-duty applications.

Memory and Storage

It comes with 8GB of DDR5 memory which is instated at a transfer rate of 5600 MT/s, as the system is dual-channel capable, therefore the setup can be upgraded to a maximum capacity of Up to 64GB, for an uninterrupted multitasking experience.

The storage drive is a 2242 PCIe Gen 4.0x4 NVMe® Opal 2.0 M.2 Solid State Drive, with a capacity of 512 GB, alongside a fast data read and write rate. The setup can handle up to two drives, allowing the setup to support up to 2 TB of storage.

Display

The device features a 14-inch IPS screen that harbors a resolution of WUXGA of 1920 x 1200, with it capable of achieving a maximum brightness of 300 nits and allowing the panel to display a crisp picture that provides a 45% coverage of the NTSC space.

Other Specs

The notebook outputs High Definition (HD) Audio that is powered with a Senary SN6141 codec chip, that drives the stereo speakers supported by Dolby Atmos, audio tuned by HARMAN.

The Full HD 1080p infrared Hybrid webcam with Privacy Shutter and a 2x microphone Array is located along the top screen bezel.

The power button located on the palm rest also doubles as a fingerprint reader for secure logins, an LED-Backlit, English (EU), and a fully clickable touchpad.

The network connectivity is ensured by the Wi-Fi® 6E, 802.11ax 2x2 + BT5.3 wireless card, and an RJ 45 Ethernet adapter.

Featuring 4 USB ports, two of them are USB Type-As, and two are Type-Cs. The Type-As are USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2, with a signaling rate of 5 Gbps, and 10 Gbps respectively. The Type-Cs include a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, and a Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 with a signaling rate of 20 Gbps and 40 Gbps with a Display port support of 1.4 and 2.1 respectively, both can also handle Power Delivery 3.0 as well.

The system outputs through an HDMI® 2.1 port, which can output up to 4K/60Hz, and audio through a Headphone/microphone combo jack.
